This is a beautiful picture of the bald eagle. I saw many of these in Alaska last summer but never got this close to one. I found this image on Flickr. This has been a fun adventure to find out about all the interesting things people have taken pictures of. I love it!

This is a beautiful photograph. We visited Alaska several years ago and I can still picture the bald eagle in the trees. Their heads looked like snow balls in the branches!
such magnificent birds..how thrilling it must be to see them in the wild...I must be contented to have beautiful photos like this one to view!
