Thing #11

What an incredible opportunity to share books and get ideas on books that other people have enjoyed. It was so easy to use. Setting up the library was literally a "click of the mouse"! It is also interesting to see how many others share my taste in books.

Your library looks to have some of the same selections as my own. I used to read Rosamund Pilcher as well as (I hate to admit it) romance novel authors. Sometimes, I just need to give my brain a break and escape into a book that doesn't require me to think too much. The LibraryThing site reminded me of the 'phases' of my reading. I've gone from Stephen King to Stephen Ambrose. I just finished 'The Thirteenth Tale' and a friend has promised to loan his 'Tunnels'. I'm also reading personal accounts from 9/11 - but, even though they are brief, they are intense and I'm taking my time going through them. As for the LibraryThing site, I actually am excited to use it to catalogue my shelves and shelves of childrens' literature.

It is interesting to look at everyone's Library Thing postings. I always get good ideas for things to read. Library Thing is easy to use and fun. I especially like that it has a place to put books you want to read!
